Research data management

Understand what RDM is, why it's important to your research process, and how RRU Library can support you.

Depositing data

RRU researchers, faculty, students, and staff, interested in publishing their data and/or their supporting documentation are encouraged to contact RRU Library for support. Among the services the library offers is housing data and/or supporting documentation in RRU's share of Borealis, the Canadian Dataverse Repository.

Borealis is a secure and publicly searchable Canadian data repository, though researchers who deposit their data here can choose how openly available to make their data, from freely accessible to mediated access to inaccessible. Managed by the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL), Borealis has contributors and adopters from across Canada. Researchers can use Borealis to search for secondary data, deposit their own data, store metadata.
