Films at RRU Library

Looking for a movie to watch this weekend? RRU Library provides access to feature films through our Audio-Cine and Criterion databases. Sign in with your RRU username and password, kick back and enjoy!

Audio Cine Films collection offers access to 1000s of titles from the world's most renowned film studios and producers, including new releases and French films. Subtitles and dubbing are available in a wide range of languages.

More than 1500 English titles and 1100 French titles, approximately 135 foreign language films with English subtitles, 100+ documentary features, closed captioned titles when available, both streaming and download options (downloaded films expire after 48 hrs).

Mobile devices

Both Audio Cine and Criterion On-Demand support mobile playback. 

• Criterion supports playback on Apple iOS or Android mobile devices, as well as ChromeOS devices like Chromebooks.
• Audio Cine films can be viewed on Apple and Android devices using the Swank Media Player app.
  1. Install the Swank Media Player app on your device.
  2. Select an Audio Cine film in your browser.
  3. When you play the film it will automatically open in the Swank Media Player app.

Casting to your television

Criterion supports Airplay and Chromecast.

• For Airplay, please use the Airplay button found in the video player when accessing Criterion On-Demand via Apple Safari.
• For Chromecast, please cast your desktop/Chrome browser tab from the Cast settings within Chrome browser or ChromeOS.
