NVivo -       

• Organize and analyze qualitative data sources such as text and multimedia. Classify, sort, and arrange thousands of pieces of information.
• RRU has software licenses available for faculty and students. Student access must be authorized by their research project supervisors and the supervisor needs to request an NVIVO software license from the IT helpdesk.

• A cross-platform app for analyzing qualitative and mixed methods research with text, photos, audio, videos, spreadsheet data and more.

Taguette -  

• For coding text files only. Can work with Word, txt, pdf, Excel
• Download to your computer or server or use their web-based option

• You can add collaborators to a project. Under the Project Info tab in top left, click on ‘Manage collaborators.

QDA Miner -      

• Organize, code, annotate, retrieve, and analyze documents and images
• Paid software with a ‘lite’ free version, too
