Reading, thinking, and writing at a graduate level

In your time as a Master's student at RRU, you're going to build your skills in reading, thinking, and writing about other people's research as well as your own thinking. This guide is a starting point for that process.

Reading, Thinking, and Writing at a Graduate Level was originally authored by Dr. Judith Blanchette, and she graciously gave us permission to share and adapt the material. We have made substantial updates from the original version to reflect current practices in the Writing Centre but we remain grateful to Dr. Blanchette for the foundation of and inspiration for the current iteration.
