This guide introduces researchers to the concepts of data justice, its connections to data literacy and data equity, and provides guidance for incorporating data justice into their research projects.

Algorithmic Justice League - The Algorithmic Justice League uses art and research to examine the impacts of AI on marginalized communities, galvanize researchers, policymakers, and industry practitioners to prevent AI harms, and move the need toward ethical AI. 

Coalition for Communities of Color - A collective effort to improve outcomes for communities of color, CCC collects culturally-appropriate data, conducts research and policy analysis, and leads advocacy and leadership efforts. 

Data Justice Lab - The Data Justice Lab examines the relationship between datafication and social justice from a civic perspective. 

Design Justice Network - The Design Justice Network "wield[s] our collective power and experiences to bring forth worlds that are safer, more just, more accessible, and more sustainable" through a critical design practice based on the Design Justice principles. 

Los Angeles Data Justice Hub - an "initiative that empowers students, community organizations, and faculty to access and use data to rectify harm."
