Citation managers

Citation managers are personal databases you fill with citations for all the articles, books, and other documents you use in the course of your research. Citation managers can help you organize your material and generate bibliographies from your collected document descriptions.

RRU Library supports the use of Zotero, a free, open-source citation manager. Check out our guide to Zotero and get your citation management journey started today.

Beyond Zotero, there are many more options for citation managers, including paid and free versions. If you want help deciding which of these is best for you, this page can help.
