After the event

Following up after the online conference is a great way to invite attendee feedback to assess the conference and improve upon future events. Be sure to send the following after your event:

  • Post-event survey to attendees, presenters and moderators to get feedback on their experiences- consider tweaking your survey for each of these groups to better inform your planning processes
  • Links to any recordings of conference sessions, resources or Google documents or feedback walls (like Padlet)
  • A debrief invite to the program committee to discuss successes, challenges and lessons learned to inform future planning
  • Thank you emails to program committee, presenters, moderators
