Blackboard Collaborate

Blackboard Collaborate is software used by course instructors at Royal Roads University to facilitate online, synchronous meetings or lectures in online classes.  Collaborate sessions can be taped and archived for future viewing.

Google+ Hangouts

Although more of a social interaction site, Google Hangouts allows up to 10 users to have group conversations by text, voice or video, and it's free.
