Much of our film collection can be found by searching Discovery (the Library's main search engine). This includes our DVD collection, plus streaming video from CBC (from the Curio collection), National Film Board of Canada, and SAGE.
To search for films in Discovery, enter your search terms into the main search box on the Library homepage, then select "Video" under Format on the right-hand filtering menu on the search results screen.
Want to find just DVDs or just streaming videos? You can also use the filtering menu to limit to a specific video format.
Each of our video collections is licensed from a vendor that provides their own browsing platform.
Familiar with Netflix? These platforms are very similar. Follow the links below and sign in with your RRU username and password to access educational videos, feature films, and research methods videos.
Note: Several of our video collections are not currently searchable through Discovery and must be searched through the vendor platform; these are noted below. We are working to integrate these collections into our system.
Do you miss video rental stores? Stop by RRU Library and browse our DVD collection! You'll find our DVDs on the main floor above the stacks, just to the right of the main staircase.
